This model got a big thumbs up during our testing for the best midsize model. We found the double-wall smokeless design to be effective for an efficient hot and clean burn. The 2.0 has a removable ash tray on the bottom as well; making cleanup a snap.

The stand allows for added airflow from below while also protecting heat-sensitive flooring like hardwood decks, and the shield keeps hot embers from escaping. The lid converts the fire pit into a small table for drinks and snacks, which is a nice bonus.

This model has improved upon previous iterations at capturing and reducing smoke by extending the bezel and raising the burn chamber. During testing one of the most helpful features we noted was the lift-out ash catcher for easier cleaning.

The bowl shape on the Cuisinart COH-1900 smokeless fire pit helps the heat disperse outward, easily reaching anyone sitting around it. It’s currently 17 percent off the original price.

Even when flames weren’t above the rim, we still felt the heat radiating toward us. The wind guard protects the flame from burning out or embers from blowing out of control. And, best of all, we hardly noticed any smoke.

This smokeless fire pit from TIKI stood out as one of the easiest to clean. All you have to do is sweep the inside of the pit until the ashes fall into the ash tray, and then simply remove and empty the tray. We also appreciated that the air intake comes from the side slats instead of the bottom for a more even burn. Another plus is the black powder-coated black exterior, which won’t rust or discolor over time.
